Can PodioBackup change or delete anything in my Podio?
No. You authorize access through Podio's own OAuth flow — we never ask for your password — and the connection is used only to read data. You can revoke access from your Podio account settings at any time.
What exactly is included in a backup?
Everything that makes your Podio yours: items with all field values, uploaded files, comments (including comments on tasks, which most exports lose), the relationships between your apps, and each item's full revision history.
How do I get my data back?
Pick a snapshot and download it — a structured, readable archive with your items, files, comments, relationships and history. And if you've lost something critical and need it back inside Podio, recovery assistance is included: support walks you through it.
Where is my data stored?
On servers hosted in the EU. Access tokens and backup data are encrypted, and your data is only ever used to provide the backup service — never analyzed, shared or sold.
Can I cancel? What if a backup isn't delivered?
Cancel anytime from your billing page — no calls, no lock-in. And if we ever fail to deliver a backup as promised, you get that period refunded. Simple.
